Strategic Content Production
Internships and part-time roles have taught me the fundamentals of strategic communication. Whether it involved being behind the editing or in front of the camera, I learned the importance of aligning content with a brand strategy, connecting with different audiences and creating authentic projects.

As the Communications Manager of the Hybrid Electric Vehicle Team, my main responsibility was to create strategic, engaging content that effectively communicated complex engineering practices to a wide audience. I executed real-world deliverables to put my team in a position to succeed, led major productions, and served as the voice for an incredible team.

Impact Video Deliverable
Serving as a strategic communication tool, the Impact Video highlights the value, outcomes, and story of the Hybrid Electric Vehicle Team. It is intended to inform and inspire key stakeholders by demonstrating how HEVT and EcoCAR contribute to workforce development, academic enrichment, industry collaboration, and community impact.
Social Media Video Deliverables
Develop professional, engaging, and informative short-form videos that capture team operations. Shared on the official EcoCAR social media platforms. Often technical in nature, these videos required collaboration across sub-teams to ensure seamless communication with EcoCAR audiences.
Social Media Management
Plan and execute a strategic social media campaign based on four themes:
1) EcoCAR Team Content
2) Vehicle Achievements & Progress
3) Sponsor Promotion & Engagement
4) Engaging/Trending Content
Maintain and grow social media presence through content planning, EcoCAR alignment, and streamlined operations.

My experience at Nonagon Productions served as an introduction to the world of client-oriented production and
editing. While most of my prior experience involved internal productions, Nonagon showed me the importance
of tailoring content to individual clients while aligning with a specific, detailed content strategy.
Client Work: Social Media, Recruitment, and Brand Story Videos
Working alongside Nonagon staff to edit client projects was my primary responsibility. This involved getting prepped on client missions to understand content intent, making detailed and purposeful edits to streamline operations, and aligning final products with Nonagon's strategic storytelling strategy. For the Project Forklift brand story video, I played a key role in shaping a fluid and engaging narrative by organizing interview and b-roll footage and editing it into a cohesive, compelling story. I also contributed to editing social media packages, crafting engaging reels that boosted client engagement while translating complex company operations into clear, accessible content for broad audiences.
Nonagon Social Media Content
Along with client work, my responsibilities involved planning and editing Nonagon social media videos to boost engagement and visibility across social platforms. Given basic templates, I would transform simple a-roll packages into compelling sequences involving music, captioning, and engaging visuals.

At Steampunk Inc., I learned how to represent a brand and its amazing people through strategic content production. I worked as part of a diligent, high-powered communications team that pushed me to deliver high-quality content and innovative ideas to scale Steampunk's internal platform. Embracing the Agile framework and collaborating with experienced storytellers allowed me to grow as a digital creator and understand how to contribute to a brand's digital presence.
My major contribution the Steampunk's "ProdSquad" and their internal content platform was through my personally produced series "Intern Intros". Throughout my internship, I created 12 episodes and interviewed over 20 fellow interns to discuss internship experiences and the value Steampunk brings to the table. I led a full-fledged production, including scripting, lighting, audio, multi-camera shoots, and editing. This project served as an incredibly valuable experience.
I learned how to serve as the voice of a brand on-camera, create immersive content for viewers across company operations, and independently tackle large productions.
